Learn Tulu Language in 7 days

You can now learn Tulu language in 7 days. Following is the day-wise plan to learn the Dravidian language in a week. Happy learning.

Day 4 : More sentences while speaking to your Tulu speaking friend

Day 7 : Advanced Tulu learning - Songs, Dramas and Movies

You can find audio clips/guides for the respective posts below, which are useful in getting the pronunciation right.

  1. Hi i'm really stunned by the similarity of tulu script with malayam ,I thought malayalam is related to tamil,but i was shocked to see tulu script which i mistook was malayalam script.

    1. Yes Malayāḷmụ is related to Tamil.
      Malayalam language has highest influence of Tamil
      whereas the script used to write Malayalam and Tulu are derived from same orig8n

    Here are the TULU equivalents :

    1.niklena illada neer guvel da na att pipe d na. (guvel in Tulu means Well)

    2.niklena illard neer barpuna jaage yet doorard undu

    3.niklena illad saankina praanilu attanda kelenjilu unda?
    praani in Tulu means Animal
    kelenji in Tulu means HouseFly

  26. Thanks, though edde raathre is a translation of English phrase Good Night, it is rarely used. I believe that is the case with other Indian languages too...

    1. Well, none of these phrases are used in daily conversations. To greet any person anytime, we say Namaskaara and then ask Encha ullar? (How are you?). Occasionally, people say 'Dever Edde Malpad' (Let the god bestow his blesssings/goodness). Or while parting, people say Paatherga Apanda(Lets talk again then) OR Thikga Apanda(See you next time then)
